Our Wedding

Ever Wonder…What makes up a couple’s story anyway? Our story may not be the most unique, we didn’t meet as strangers under extraordinary circumstances, but we did meet as strangers. We didn’t come together through some random act of kindness, but nevertheless blessed to have come together. A lifetime of small blessings and life lessons has led us to this moment in life, we are Rebecca &amp; Michael, and this isOUR story! In September of 2022, two kindred spirits managed to unexpectedly find their way into one another’s lives. An unassuming Tuesday night cocktail gave way to a Friday night dinner, that ultimately led to a string of adventures. Those adventures filled with all the usual dating criteria, baseball games, museum trips, weekend getaways, and of course we couldn’t write this story without mentioning our love for the occasional stay ‘cation at home. While we feel fortunate to have experienced those great adventures all new couples should, it turns out the quiet times have been golden times, learning to be still with the one you love. New Orleans is a festive and unique place...Leave your cares behind and join us for a night of fun!

Venue

The Ceremony and Reception will take place outside in a quaint courtyard located behind The Pharmacy Museum. The courtyard is paved in brick, so ladies, please take care when picking out your shoes. Also, it will be outdoors, in May, in the South...it will be warm, so dress accordingly.

Second Line

Immediately following the Ceremony, the New Orleans Jazz Band will lead us on a parade through the French Quarter. This will require a bit of walking, so ladies, one more thing to consider when picking out your shoes. We will have pedicabs available for those with limited mobility.

Parking

The Museum does not offer parking, therefore we highly recommend Uber.There are limited metered street parking spaces available near the museum. There is also valet parking available at the Omni Royal parking garage located directly across the street from the venue.

New Orleans is booming with a variety of accommodations to suit your taste and budget.&nbsp;Our wedding venue is located in the The French Quarter which is extremely walkable and provides easy access to loads of hotels, restaurants, bars, and live music.
